Amit Verma replaces Dev in Annu Ki Hogayee..

Amit Verma, of Hotel Kingston and Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai fame, is back to television after a hiatus, as he plays the new Ashu in Star One's Annu Ki Ho Gayee Wah Bhai Wah.. Amit who is also seen in Baa Bahu Aur Baby as of now, and will sport a cool-dude look, playing a die-hard romantic in the Star One show.

Amit who replaces Dev Keshwani as Ashu is very excited after bagging this role and that too, from DJ's unit. "We have always wanted to work together, but things never worked out due to clash in dates. But now finally this time when they approached me, I was able to take it up. They are definitely one of the best producers to work with. They have come out with some of the best shows on TV", chirps Amit.

Ironically, Amit Verma's stint with hotels continues after Hotel Kingston, as here too, he plays the owner of a restaurant and falls in love with Annu, a chef at the hotel. As Amit steps into the shoes of Dev Keshwani, the apparent reason for this replacement according to Deeya and Tony is that, they needed a more mature person playing Ashu's character as part of a new twist in the tale. Well, Dev's loss seems to be Amit's gain!!
