Ardhangini goes off air today

Zee's run with the whip continues as after axing their not-so-popular shows Ardhangini and Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, the channel has come up with another twist in the tale! Ardhangini which was scheduled to wrap up on 3rd April will now culminate on 20th March. According to our source associated with the channel, this drastic decision has been taken by the channel as they wanted to put an end to the dismal quality delivered by the Production House.

But when spoke to Kinnari Mehtaa of Jay Productions, she says, "The show is going off-air before time as our lead actress Sudeepa Singh is suffering from chicken pox. We have previously given Zee one of its non-primetime hit shows, Sinndoor Tere Naam Ka which had a very fair run". But in the case of Ardhangini, it looks like tables turned as the serial never had any impact on the TRP chart ever since it started 6 months ago.

A sad story indeed, but yes, the show must go on and as Kinnari debates, "See, every show can't be a hit. Our relationship with the channel is as healthy as it was before". As we bid adieu to the Production house and the serial, we wish that they come up with something better in the near future!
