Albeit
Rajesh
Kumar
is
a
new
name
to
television
audience
Roshesh
from
"Sarabhai
verses
Sarabhai" is
already
an
adorable
guy
for
every
household.
His
unique
way
of
calling
his
mama
is
still
fresh
for
audience.
After
that
show,
Rajesh
is
now
appearing
in
Hats
Off
Productions"
"Ba
Bahu
Aur
Baby"
and
portraying
a
serious
character
in
"Grihdah",
a
serial
in
Doordarshan.
But
here
we
have
good
news
for
the
audience
who
love
Rajesh"s
comedy.
He
will
now
appear
as
a
gin
in
"Chal
Di
Da
Naam
Gaddi",
a
comic
flick
on
Zee
TV.
Rajesh
is
really
very
excited
about
his
new
character.
As
he
says,
"Before
getting
this
opportunity,
I
used
to
just
see
such
kind
of
characters
in
television
and
get
happy.
But
this
time,
I
am
really
excited
as
I
am
doing
one
such
role.
My
appearance
and
outfits
will
be
outrageous
and
my
cap
and
my
stretched
out
ears
should
enthuse
the
children
to
watch
me
(smiles)".
Like
many
other
colleagues
in
the
show,
Rajesh
is
not
habituated
a
face
in
the
industry,
but
his
character
in
"Sarabhai
verses
Sarabhai" has
really
given
him
a
mileage.
He
gives
all
its
credit
to
the
Hats
Off
Productions
saying,
"Hats
Off
Productions
is
like
a
laboratory
for
me
and
I
am
their
white
rat.
They
do
whatever
experiment
they
want
on
me."
Rajesh
is
true
in
the
sense
that
his
character
in
Sarabhai…
was
uniquely
fresh
and
well
accepted
by
the
audience.
We
may
expect
Hats
Off
to
try
any
such
experimentation
with
his
character
in
"Chal
Di
Da
Naam
Gaddi".
Rajesh
says,
"Truly
speaking,
I
didn"t
think
about
my
character
when
Roshesh
happened,
and
am
not
thinking
much
about
this
character
too.
I
always
try
to
make
my
characters
look
jovial
so
that
it
may
get
praised
by
audience."
Rajesh
has
also
done
a
cameo
in
Hats
Off
Productions"
"Ek
Packet
Ummid" for
NDTV
Imagine.
"Grihdah",
another
show
that
Rajesh
is
acting
in,
is
based
on
Sharat
Chandra
Chattaopadhyay"s
novel
of
the
same
name.
Rajesh,
in
Grihdah,
is
playing
the
character
of
Suresh
who
belongs
to
very
rich
family
and
forces
away
the
ladylove
of
his
poor
friend.
As
based
on
the
story
of
1950,
the
dialogue
of
the
show
demands
pure
Hindi.
Besides
language,
the
show
is
crucially
dependant
on
the
perfect
time,
situations
and
locale.
Rajesh
is
happy
with
his
few
roles
and
appearances
even
in
this
age
of
extreme
competition.
He
says,
"I
am
happy
with
my
present
status.
There
are
only
thirty
days
in
a
month
and
I
am
happy
that
I
am
busy
all
throughout
these
days.
At
the
same
time,
it"s
really
necessary
to
take
my
time
out
for
my
family."
Rajesh
is
to
be
a
proud
father
in
coming
July.
He
is
very
excited
with
that
news
and
at
the
same
time
he
is
upbeat
when
it
comes
to
his
increasing
responsibility
as
a
father.
We
can
guess
it
very
well
that
this
upcoming
gin
of
"Chal
Di
Da
Naam
Gaddi"
will
soon
entertain
his
own
child,
too.
