The
three-woman
army
seen
in
Teen
Bahuraniyan
has
now
been
reduced
to
two,
as
Manwa
Naik
who
portrayed
the
role
of
Manjeet
has
quit
the
serial.
The
actress
has
taken
this
move
as
she
was
displeased
with
the
way
her
character
was
progressing
in
the
serial.
"Yes,
it
is
true
that
I
am
leaving
the
show.
The
producers
had
promised
that
I
would
be
playing
the
lead
in
the
serial,
but
that
didn't
happen",
states
Manwa.
Sources
also
reveal
that
the
actress
was
not
very
happy
with
the
entry
of
Smriti
Irani
aka
Vrinda
Massi
into
the
serial,
as
all
the
spotlight
and
story
revolved
around
her,
leaving
others
in
a
lurch.
Ultimately,
with
Manwa
calling
the
shots,
the
production
house
ended
her
character
very
gracefully.
"We
tried
our
best
to
give
justice
to
Manjeet's
character
in
the
end.
But
as
a
production
house
we
couldn't
really
force
her
to
carry
on
with
the
role
against
her
wishes.
We
wish
her
all
the
best
for
her
future," says
Tanu,
Creative
Head
of
Teen
Bahuraniyaan.
Well,
Manwa
who
is
also
seen
in
Star
Plus' Baa
Bahu
Aur
Baby
will
play
a
lead
role
in
the
rival
channel
soap,
is
what
we
hear
from
our
source.
When
asked
about
this,
Manwa
vehemently
declines
saying,
"At
present
I
am
not
doing
any
other
shows
and
waiting
for
a
right
script
to
come
across".
Probably
Manwa
took
a
bad
decision
by
coming
out
of
a
serial
which
had
Smriti
in
it..
Wonder
whether
Manwa
lost
a
golden
opportunity
of
being
in
the
good
books
of
the
actor-turned
producer,
Smriti
Irani!!
