SRK returns to small screen with Ghar Ki Baat

Shahrukh Khan started his career as a television actor and now is all set to turn a television producer. Sharukh's Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd will be producing the sitcom Ghar Ki Baat which will be aired weekly on NDTV Imagine. Sources have revealed that the show will be similar to India's first sitcom Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi of the 80s which remains one of the biggest hits on Indian television.

The serial will star Juhi Babbar, Sumeet Raghavan, Swapnil Joshi and Jayati Bhatia. Ananth Mahadevan will direct the show while Aziz Mirza will be the creative director. As like Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi it will talk about everyday issues. Ghar Ki Baat should do well even if it is half as good as Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi and the audience will get some comic relief from the never ending saas bahu saga.
