Zee
TV
is
proud
to
announce
the
launch
of
Shree,
a
love
story
with
a
paranormal
element.
This
is
the
first
time
that
a
love
story
and
a
paranormal
angle
are
being
blended
together
to
form
a
show
like
never
before.
In
fact
the
outdoor
creatives
proclaim
"Pavitra
bandhan
par
ashubh
saya",
which
amply
substantiates
the
combination
of
two
distinctively
separate
storylines
in
a
seamless
lattice.
The
show
debuts
on
22nd
December
and
is
scheduled
from
Monday
to
Thursday
at
10.30pm.
Post
this
launch,
Ranbir
Rano
moves
to
the
11pm
slot.
Commenting
on
the
new
launch,
Zee
TV's
Business
Head
Mr.
Tarun
Mehra
said,
"Zee
has
always
been
known
for
its
experiments
with
content
to
best
suit
the
palate
of
its
audience.
The
show
is
being
produced
by
JD
Majethia's
Hat's
Off
Creations
and
JD
has
a
way
to
touch
people's
hearts
with
his
characters
and
this
is
the
first
time
he
is
doing
a
love
story,
which
I
am
sure
the
viewers
are
looking
forward
to.
It's
a
fare
meant
for
the
entire
family.
In
our
daily
lives
often
we
come
across
instances
which
are
not
only
incomprehensible
but
also
bizarre.
Every
relationship
goes
through
it
and
we
keep
on
wondering
whether
it's
normal
or
anomalous?
Similar
is
the
case
with
Shree
and
Hari;
the
main
protagonists
of
our
show.
The
young
couple
have
to
constantly
face
various
surreal
obstructions
in
their
marital
life
which
are
being
caused
by
an
'asubh
saya'
...like
our
campaign
says,
"vaham
ya
kutch
aur"?
The
underlying
thought
is
to
associate
a
love
story
with
a
paranormal
influence.
The
characters
are
extremely
interesting
and
unique."
The
idea
is
to
get
the
viewers
to
sample
a
show
that
is
a
little
unique
and
at
the
same
time
provide
them
the
comfort
of
their
daily
fare
of
a
soap
packaged
in
a
new
avtaar.
The
cast
has
new
comers
Wasna
(Shree)
and
Pankaj
Shukla
(Hari).
Hari
is
the
ideal
son-in-law
for
every
Gujarati
family
looking
for
a
prospective
groom.
But
ever
since
his
parents
have
started
looking
for
a
match
for
him,
there
have
been
12
rejected
proposals.
The
family
tantrik
infers
that
there
is
a
presence
of
an
'ashubh
saya'
on
Hari
that
is
preventing
him
from
getting
married
and
recommends
looking
for
a
daunting,
brave
girl
who
will
be
able
to
ward
off
the
evil
spirit;
the
spirit
bent
to
foils
all
efforts
of
anyone
trying
to
get
married
to
Hari.
Enter
Shree,
timid
and
unassuming.
The
least
likely
person
to
ward
off
the
'ashubh
saya',
scared
of
her
own
shadow...will
Shree
be
able
to
stake
her
claim
to
Hari
by
defeating
the
paranormal
force?
So
tune
in
to
Shree
starting
on
22nd
December,
on
air
every
Monday
to
Thursday
at
10.30pm
only
on
Zee
TV.
