Zee Next stars revolt for a Republic Day break

The actors of Zee Next shows Yaha Ke Hum Sikander and Simplly Sapney have revolted against their producers and are demanding a holiday on January 26, Republic Day, to enable them to go to the Gateway of India to celebrate the day with full patriotic spirit. However, the producers are not ready to give them the break as they say that the holiday will hamper their shooting schedule and delay their work. On the other hand, the actors are also demanding the break as they have not been able to get an off from the time the channel was launched. Hence they have kind of revolted against the producers.

When we contacted actor Ravi Dubey of Yaha Ke Hum Sikander he said, "Yes, we want a break and it is not only for the actors, but also for the crew members as they have to work round the clock till the shooting gets over. We actors get time off between the shots, but the crew has to work even after the shooting gets over and I believe that everybody deserves a break. I think there should be a holiday, but granting it or not granting it is not in our hands."

When we told him that we have heard that they have planned to go to the Gateway of India on January 26, and not enjoy the day at home, he said, "This too is a rest in a way. I think relaxation has different meanings for everybody. It is what you personally believe. You can relax while lying on your bed in your home or you can chill out with your friends." In reply to the producers" stand that a break would affect the shooting schedule, Ravi said, "There is no clarity on that till now. But we are hoping everybody gets a one day break".

We also hope that the producers give these actors a break so that our dear actors are able to enjoy the Republic Day like we enjoy and celebrate the occasion.
