Tusshar and Amrita
Indian Idol Rubaroo has been great fun from the time it started last season. It has only got better and bigger this time round. With Chang and Deepali playing hosts and the entire lot of contestants showing off their hidden talents it is fast becoming a much awaited episode every week. It is a good mix of revelation of the little known side of the contestants and pure entertainment as well. This week popular Pakistani singer Shafqat Amanat Ali was the special guest invited to interact with the contestants.

He offered some extremely valuable tips to the young aspiring singers and the contestants in turn entertained him with renditions of some of his own songs with a touch of originality! Roshan sang Shafqat's song Mitwa... from Kal Ho Na Ho with innovation that pleasantly surprised Shafqat. Kuldeep sang Piya nahi bole... and Mohit sang Lal meri ... much to everyone's delight. But Shafqat's singing simply demonstrated the prowess of a professional singer. His latest album Tabeer is sheer treat for music lovers.

There is much more in store on Rubaroo this time with Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Arora adding to the glamour. Tusshar is such a spontaneous and fun guy behind those deceptive looks. He played dumb charades with a difference-- enacted songs in his Golmaal style and the contestants had to guess the song. It was simply hilarious! Amrita's presence had the guys going weak in the knees. In fact, they even forgot to sing when she walked in! But it was the soft-spoken army man Kapil who surprised one and all with his amazing moves and had Amrita dancing on his tunes! It sure was a lot of golmaal! Do not miss the fun, frolic and fantastic camaraderie between the contestants only on Indian Idol 4 this Thursday October 30, 2008 at 7.30 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.
