Zee TV to have a new look

Zee TV
Zee TV announces its new packaging theme: Har Pal Banaye Ek Naya Rishta. The new packaging also marks the channel"s returns with fresh programming!! Mumbai, 28th November 2008: To commemorate the quintessential Zee TV woman and also the channel"s return to fresh programming after a hiatus of 3 weeks, Zee TV is ready to announce its new channel packaging that highlights this very woman in her various moods and nuances. This woman is rooted in tradition and is able to mix with her family while being contemporary at the same time. She is the centre of the universe but regards her family as the source of inspiration.

The channel is planning to unveil this facet of the Zee woman on 1st December 2008. This is the channel"s step towards consolidating and binding its programs and bringing to its viewers a palatable mix of drama, thriller, music and mythology. The 30-sec master promo brings out the journey of the Zee woman in all her relationships- with her family, her children, her husband, God...

The music is by the inimitable trio Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy. There is a predominance of butterflies and flower vines that depict the nature of the woman in question. Some interesting details about the packaging: The graphics for this video are by Tata Elexi, who are also associated with shows like Dhoom, Taare Zameen Par, Roadside Romeo, to name a few. Also, the channel has used real images (kids, wife, husband, grand-parents) not surreal ones to depict the ideology of the channel. These are people one can associate and identify with, and that's what the channel is all about.

Another interesting point to note is the amalgamation of the five elements – Fire, Water, Ether, Air and Earth in the video (see clip attached). It talks about the Zee woman being Traditional and family oriented yet progressive at the same time, which is also portrayed through the female characters from the shows on the channel.
