Alka replaces Tuhinaa in Jyoti

Alka Kaushal is all set to enter Sphere Origin show Jyoti on NDTV Imagine. She is replacing Tuhinaa Vora as Bharavi in the serial. The actress got fame to Kumkum where she played the role of bua again on Star Plus.

“Tuhinaa Vora left the show due to health problems. She had not been keeping well and due to the daily shooting schedule the actress was not able to get enough rest which started deteriorating her more. Thus Alka was brought in the picture."

Alka made her television debut with Ramesh Sippy"s Gatha (Star Plus) and was later seen in Tum Pukar Lo, Manzilein Apni Apni (both Zee) and Prratima (SaharaOne). Her variety includes serials like Faasle, 9 Malabar Hill, Sansar, Kartavya and Kammal where she plays a lawyer.

We tried contacting the actress but she was not available for the comment. She will be entering the show from tonight so let"s see if the audience accept her in the same way as they did to Tuhinaa.
