Anil Kapoor hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati?

If the latest news is to be believed, your ideal reality show host Anil Kapoor is going to appear on your television screen, and that too hosting a show very similar to the one he did in the film Slumdog Millionaire.

Well, the news is doing the rounds that Anil Kapoor is going to host Kaun Banega Crorepati's third season this year. Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan are passe. It seems Sony Television, which has bought the rights of KBC, is trying to cash in on Anil's new found popularity as a show host in Danny Boyle's film Slumdog Millionaire.

It is said that the channel was thinking of letting Salman Khan host the quiz show, as he had already been signed three years contract for Dus Ka Dum. However, Anil's wonderful performance as a host in Slumdog Millionaire seems to have forced the channel to think again.

Of course, we are yet to hear from Anil!
