Earlier an NGO had made a complaint against the show to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, the NCPCR and the labour ministry. So too Women and Child Development secretary Anil Kumar has commented that the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), will be investigating the matter in detail.
Krishna Tirath, the minister for Women and child development has criticized the reality show ambika soni, anil kumar, kank, pati patni aur woh where star couples are asked to look after babies. He has lodged a complaint for exploiting babies. “For the sake of making a serial, the makers cannot exploit and harass the children," Tirath said when told that some NGOs have complained to the ministry about the reality show. Even though the children"s parents are watching what is happening, the makers cannot separate them from their biological parents."
