Raja Chaudhary is back in action. This ex husband of actress Shweta Tiwari who had been admitted to hospital for depression after his return from Big Boss2, will soon be seen on 9X paranormal show, Black. “He says " I will play the Character of Vikram, the main negative power. The show currently focuses on a small boy, who is possessed by negative spirit. My character will be his mentor who will help him to take on the positive forces.
He further informs that Vikram will be a long running character who will remain even as the stories will change". Black is a daily show based on the hit American series, X files, with Mamik essaying the lead role.
Raja who has done quite a few Doordarshan shows before like Apne Mera Apne and Ane Wallah Pal( He and Shweta worked together in this project)_ says producer Sunil Agnihotri himself approached him for the character. I am doing his Chandramukhi as well.. But don"t you think 9x is weak channel "Our show première along with Sarkar Ki Duniya( Real). and Specials at 10( SET) But our ratings are better".
He is quite thankful to Dr Sachin Patkar for treating him, “I had thought that on my return from the Karjat house I might be united with my wife and daughter which did not happen hence I slipped into depression. But now I am okay and am trying to start my life afresh, Black is the first step in that direction . It was during this depression that I hurt a few people and some police cases were also filed against me. But everything is now resolved. I am sorry for what I did but unfortunately things then were beyond my control."
He also admitted that some of things he did on Big Boss also could have been avoided. “ But I am thankful to that Colours show for it brought out the real Raja Chaudhary, in front of the world, normally we actors only essay characters. Post the Big Boss experience, I have become more mature and patient, he added. Besides Black, Raja is also gearing up for his upcoming movie, White Money directed by Rajnish Tyagi." We will began shooting later this year in Maldives," he ended.
