Shahid Kapoor's support system was Kareena

Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor affair is a passe with Kareena moving on with Saif Ali Khan and Shahid hanging out with his co-stars but people still can't stop talking about them for the simple reason that they looked so good together. Two years after parting ways, Shahid reveals that Kareena was his support system.

Yes, Farah Khan made Shahid to open up on his past relationship with Kareena on her television chat show Tere Mere Beach Mein. When asked if their relationship kept sinking with every flop he faced, Shahid became very protective of his ex girlfriend. He said that Kareena became his support system. He added that success and failure are part of every relationship.

Shahid however said that he was very much aware that Kareena was grand-daughter of Raj Kapoor and sister of Karisma Kapoor. He added that he knew it would become an issue in the future.
