Vindu Dara Singh wins Bigg Boss 3

Vindu Dara Singh, son of legendary wrestler Dara Singh, has won the Bigg Boss 3 defeating model Pravesh Rana and Bollywood actress Poonam Dhillon. The 45-year-old who could not establish himself in Bollywood and tasted little success in the small screen took home a cash prize of Rs 1 crore. Vindus also won himself a Chevrolet Cruz for being the most stylish and bold inmate in the house defeating Rana who had claimed himself to be the style icon.

Vindu emerged winner in the third edition of the show after successfully completing 68 days in the Bigg Boss house defeating the likes of Shamita Shetty. Raju Shrivastav, Sherlyn Chopra and Ismail Durbar, Kamal Rashid Khan and Claudia Ciesla. The finale was hosted by Amitabh Bachchan who has hosted the show and played the role of a pop philosopher. The finale also saw some scintillating performances by all the house mates.

Pravesh Rana who had made a surprise entry into the Bigg Boss in the sixth week gave Vindu a tough fight till the end emerging as the first runner up. Poonam Dhillon who was the second runner up also proved to be a formidable contender. Vindu Dara Singh said this to be the happiest day of his life as he hadn't ever got Rs. 1 crore at one go. An emotional Vindu later said that missed his family which was not there for the grand finale.
