Anirruddh Dave wants Octopus as a B'day gift

Anirruddh Dave turned 24 yesterday. It"s a joyous moment for the actor but the mood is slightly spoilt by the not-so-impressive opening (1.42) of his show 'Karegi Mera Naam Roshan". That though hasn"t dampened Dave"s spirit, who won"t let this affect all important day of his life.

He says, “A new show will take it"s time to grow. One needs to show patience with it. Honestly, I"m not thinking too much about it. If ever I desired a perfect gift on birthday, then I"d like someone to gift me an octopus. Don"t think I"ll be able to afford Octopus Paul, but hopes, we Indians manage to unearth a psychic octopus of our own. He can help me with the TRPs". Jokes apart, Dave had a good time on the sets of Rajshris Production"s 'Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki".

“Rajshris are always great hosts. They never forget to celebrate such days. I feel touched by their gesture. After this, I"m sure my friends from 'Karegi Mera Naam Roshan", too, would have planned something for me. I"ll have to treat them too. It"s the first time that I"m celebrating my birthday on two different sets of TV shows", said the actor. While Rajshris and Hats Off are gracious producers, Dave won"t forget the gesture of his actor friend Tarul Swami.

“As the clock hit mid-night, I got a call from Tarul who wished me. Few minutes later, he sent me an SMS telling me to open the door. There he was holding a cake in his hand. I never expected him to do so. Unfortunately, I had to send him back because I was having 7.00 am shift. However, I surely will be throwing a party for my close pals", Dave signs off.
