All the twenty-four contestants from the four cities of Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata and Bhopal were trained by the mentors like Jatin Pandit, Ila Arun, Ustad Rashid khan, Suresh Wadekar, Ismail Darbar, Mohit Chauhan, Shamir Tandon and Manoj Tiwary. The show was judged by the ardent admirer of disco, Bappi Lahiri, and the melodious Kavita Krishnamurthy. Passing through several tough rounds, two contestants ultimately reached the final, one of them being Sanjiv Kumar from Jalandar and, the other being Sumit Khatri from Rajasthan.
Talking about the memorable finale, the legendary Khayyam will grace the grand finale. There will be an electrifying performance by Dimpi, Arindam and Neha along with the rest of the top 7 contestants in order to make this finale enjoyable. A very fresh round will be introduced in which our two finalists will present a stupendous picture of the country"s 'unity in diversity' through a medley of folk songs. Another round which contains a mix of new and retro songs will exhibit the vast range and variety of our two contestants' singing talent. It is purely based on the judges' voting and on the performances of the contestants.
