Bid goodbye to Bidaai on Star Plus

Star Plus is finally going to bid good bye to one of its most popular show 'Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai". The Rajan Shahi"s show is set to take bidaai from the channel on November 13 in India and by November end in UK. As per the reports, the decision of closing the show was taken by the channel 'Star Plus". This may come as shocking news to many of 'Bidaai" fans. But, the channel wants to replace it with a new show and they are adamant on this decision.

Initially, there were lots of talks to move the show to an afternoon slot but the idea was rejected. Recently, 'Bidaai" has completed 700 successful episodes. The started on October 8, 2007. Since last three years, viewers have lost interest in the show and its characters. The story of two sisters touched everyone starting from a housewife to a young college student as it was a story of four young people.

Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan became popular as Sadhna and Ragini, the two female lead characters. Actors Angad Hasija and Kinshuk Mahajan were known by all as Alekh and Ranvir. Recently, the show saw a seven year leap where in the show missed Sadhna and Ranvir, who opted out of the show.

A new drama produced by Sphere Origins" or Shakuntalam Telefilms, is likely to replace 'Bidaai".
