No shoot, Karan busy with household work

As actors what do you do when you get an unscheduled off from work? Most simply confine themselves to their homes or head out to the nearest hills. But there"s not much that you can do when the whole nation is shut. In that scenario, actors simply sleep for long hours or catch a film.

Unfortunately, that"s a luxury a workaholic like Karan Mehra (a.k.a Naitik of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai") can"t afford.

“We"ve shot extra hours last evening to make up for today"s loss. As a result I slept late. I can"t afford to relax completely today as I"ve got certain household work pending. Principal among them is to clean my cupboard. Besides, there are certain files that need to be looked into. I don"t remember my last day off. We"ve been shooting regularly, thus I haven"t had time for all this work," said Mehra.

Does our Naiitik even resort to sweeping the floors and cleaning the closets?

(Laughs) “Well, if the need arises, then I never shy from cleaning closets too. Luckily, it wasn"t needed today," Mehra signs off.
