KBC 4 beats Bigg Boss 4 in its final episode

Sony TV launched the fourth season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati" just a week after the launch of Colors" popular reality show 'Bigg Boss season 4". Both the shows occupied the prime time slot (9pm), thus resulting in tough competition between them for grabbing the maximum numbers of eyeballs and the highest TRPs.

While, the TRPs for KBC has always remained constant, Bigg Boss ratings has fluctuated in last two months. However, the finale episode of KBC, which was aired on Thursday, was the ultimate winner as it reached the highest TRP of 5.5 against 2.7 for Bigg Boss. The main reason behind this highest TRP was the reunion of Jay-Veeru of the film Sholay on the sets of KBC on the final episode. Bollywood veteran Dharmendra was on the sets of KBC 4 to charm the viewers and the live audience.

'Bigg Boss" gave a tough competition to KBC only once with the entry of 'Baywatch babe" Pamela Anderson. Bigg Boss had started to lose the race against KBC when the show planned to bring some twists with Sara Khan and Ali Merchant"s marriage and then inviting Pamela as the celebrity guest to the house.

KBC is a show, which is aimed at family viewing whereas Bigg Boss has already faced the ire from various sectors for its often adult content. However, KBC has taken away the lion"s share on the last day thus beating Bigg Boss in a big way!
