Who is behind the success of KBC 4, Amitabh or Sena?

The occupancy of the prime time slot by Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar on the small screens, has inflicted a war for TRP rating between the respective channels.

Amitabh Bachchan hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 (airs on Sony) has taken over all the other shows by marking an opening with 6.2 TVRs (television viewership ratings). In comparison Salman Khan hosted show Bigg Boss 4 on Colors had an opening of 4.8 TVRs and Akshay Kumar's show MasterChef on Star Plus fetched 2.6 TVRs.

Now, it is definitely clear that Kaun Banega Crorepati 4 has taken away the TRP trophy as of now. Amitabh Bachchan's fan followings can be a definite reason behind it but, to every ones surprise Shiv Sena has claimed that they deserve a part of the credit for the success of KBC over Bigg Boss.

"It's a triumph for the Sena. But above all, it's a victory of nationalism. People used to watch Bigg Boss, but when they got something better quality wise, they shifted to it," stated Sena's spokesperson, Bharat Kumar Raut.

Well who is behind the success of KBC 4 will remain a mystery. But the fact is that the real winners are the viewers who get to see some of their superstars of Bollywood everyday on the small screens.
