“I was shooting a sequence where I find myself fiddling with things in the kitchen. I"ve got to take the lid off a warm utensil. Unfortunately, the lid was still hot and thus I ended up with a burnt finger. Despite this grief, I continued shooting. The directors and the crew realized that I was hurt but didn"t cut the scene so as to make the pain look authentic. Once the scene was over my assistant director rushed towards me asking about the seriousness of the injury. Then to my surprise, they all clapped and praised my performance. Their applause eased the pain a bit," said Ragini.
As the old adage goes - no pain, no gain. Well done to you Ragini.
