Times Television Network to launch channel Mango

Looks like the recent announcement to launch three English entertainment channels by BIG CBS Networks with Reliance ADAG-CBS JV, has given a tough competition to the others in the race. The latest buzz is that, the Times Television Network is planning to expand its business by launching an English movie channel, titled 'Mango.'

Though the officials of the Times Group kept quiet about the development, it is clear that the works for the new channel has already started. Times Group currently has three channels running on television, namely, Zoom, ET Now and Times Now.

Presently there are six channels that will give competition to the upcoming channel Mango, namely Star Movies, HBO, PIX, WB, UTV World and Zee Studio. Meanwhile, Big Networks and Reliance are planning to launch GEC Big CBS Prime, Big CBS Spark targeting the young generation and Big CBS Love, targeting the women.
