Abhay Deol chooses live-in over marriage on India's Most Desirable

Actor Abhay Deol recently appeared on the chat show Simi Selects India's Most Desirable. Like any other celebrity actor Abhay Deol also fell prey to Simi Garewal and revealed all his secrets on the show. Talking about his personal life the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor revealed that he might not get married and will settle down in a live-in relationship.

The actor who reportedly is in a live in relationship with his girlfriend, model-turned-actress Preeti Desai, told, “I think marriage is a cultural thing, it's my opinion that nature doesn't tell someone to get married. I may or may not get married but I will settle down in a live-in."

Later on, Deol who lives life on his terms and conditions and is far different from the other Deols says that, “I didn't come across as the person they imagined me to be from that family so I was written off, so everything was in context to my family not to who I was."

Spilling some more beans on his real life, Abhay told that he calls his dad's elder brother, veteran Dharmendra as 'dad' and his own dad as 'uncle'. Talking about his cousins Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, Abhay expressed that he used to be shit scared of his elder brother Sunny. “Well, with 'bhaiya' (Sunny) I mean he's much older than me, so he was like a protector. We were like his kids, so to speak and he would do anything for us, it's just his personality. Growing up with Bobby was fun, but he was a bit of a bully, so I got bullied around by him a lot as a kid," told the critically acclaimed actor.

Talking about his professional front, the actor revealed that he will soon be seen doing an item number in Navdeep"s film. “Dance is something I was never comfortable with but now I"m going to go all out and practise really hard for my item number in Navdeep"s film. I think it should be fun," he says.

Navdeep"s 'Shaadi of the Dead" is a dark comedy and will be the first ever zombie movie made in the Hindi film industry. Reportedly, actor Abhay Deol will be romancing actress Genelia D'Souza in the film.
