Though Karan was keen on having Hilton in his show, her media team in India kept laying down conditions one after another. Karan Johar was initially told that he could not ask Paris any personal questions – sex tapes, drug use or her jail term. Though initially Karan relented, the filmmaker who is not used to anybody dictating terms on his hit show Koffee with Karan, decided to drop Paris Hilton from his interview list.
The media people handling Paris' activities in India were apparently kept aware of the format of the show and how Karan interviews his guests. It was only after watching a few episodes of Koffee with Karan that they agreed to the show. The conditions laid down was hence quite ridiculous, a source has reported.
Meanwhile, the media company handling Paris Hilton's matters in India are trying to win back Karan's confidence.
Renowned Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar, who was to interview Paris Hilton, world famous heiress and fashion icon on his popular show Koffee with Karan, has reportedly backed out of his commitment.
