By Kalyani Prasad Keshri

No one can narrate a romantic story like Kunal Kohli does. With films like Hum Tum, Fanaa, Break Ke Baad and the upcoming love story starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to his credits, Kunal is one of the finest filmmakers that the film fraternity has seen till date.

From making films for the big screen, Kunal has now moved on to small screen. Kunal informed Mid Day, "MTV approached me to make three love stories of 45 minutes each for them. They thought I would be perfect for the job because I have made romantic films. Last year, SRK's Red Chillies produced the films."

The filmmaker added, “I was excited. We will get to nurture new talent as the actors will be cast through a reality show on the channel. We've asked aspiring actors to send in entries." It was also informed that Kunal will produce the films, but will not be donning the director hat. "I have set up the directorial team and selected three short stories which will be adapted into films," He added

Kunal will also not get involved in the auditions of the telents. He told, “No. I am simply there as the face of the talent hunt. But I will certainly be working behind the scenes."

The show begins in a couple of months.
