Saif Ali Khan to host MasterChef India 2?

While the Khiladi Akshay Kumar is back hosting his patent torchar show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 4, it is reported that Star Plus will be trying a different flavour for its show MasterChef India Season 2. The channel is thinking of roping in actor Saif Ali Khan as the host for the second season of the cookery show.

Akshay Kumar after Khatron Ke Khiladi 4 is flooded with engagements and therefore will not be able to host the show. Star Plus thus has approached Saif because of his fine taste for gourmet. If all goes well between the actor and the channel then Saif will replace Akshay, who anchored the first season of the show, as the host of MasterChef India 2.

A source told Mid Day, "The channel feels that Saif has it in him. As he hails from a family of nawabs, good food has been a part and parcel of his life. And Akshay's busy calendar this year, does not leave him with time for the show."

Meanwhile, with television buzzing with Bollywood celebrities, Saif Ali Khan should also try his hand with small screen. The channel is waiting for a nod from Saif and then will be making a formal announcement with the actor as the face of MasterChef India 2.
