Aamir Khan slams doctors for criticising Satyamev Jayate

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, who faced a lot of criticism from the doctors after the fourth episode of Satyamev Jayate, says that doctors should look within before blaming him.

Aamir Khan's fourth episode of Satyamev Jayate revealed the malpractices and corruption in medical field. After the telecast, an umbrella body of 21 medical institutions had asked Aamir to apologize for accusing doctors of malpractices.

In an interview to a news channel Aamir Khan defended himself and said, "No injustice was done on the show. Doctors have to look inwards. Some doctors are bringing disrepute to the profession."

Also, Medico Friend Circle (MFC) and the Forum for Medical Ethics Society (FMES) slammed the doctors for trying to silence "messenger" Aamir.

Dr Anant Phadke told a daily, "We appreciate that you want to uphold the dignity of the medical profession. However, we feel that denying or minimizing the importance of issues raised on this show and demanding an apology from Aamir Khan is definitely not the most appropriate way of upholding the dignity of doctors."

Undoubtedly, Aamir khan has got successful in stirring the sleeping souls with Satyamev Jayayte!
