Apoorva Agnihotri tested positive for drugs

Popular TV serial actor Apoorva Agnihotri, who was caught red handed on May 20 in Oakwood hotel in a rave party case along with wife Shilpa Agnihotri has been tested positive for drugs.

The star couple, Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri were caught by the police in a rave party on May 20th and were released only in the wee hours the next day after their urine and blood samples were sent for medical examination. At that time, the couple had called for a press meeting and cleared their stand stating that they were at their friend's party and didn't know that it was a 'rave' party.

Since Apoorva Agnihotri has been tested positive for drug consumption, the couple have now decided to keep mum. When a leading daily questioned Apoorva regarding the test, he said that since his lawyers have asked him to remain quiet, he will not reveal anything to the media at this point of time.

44 out of the 46 people were held by the Mumbai Police at a rave party held last month. Apoorva Agnihotri rose to fame with his impressive performance in the serial Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, which also marked the debut of Mona Singh.

Meanwhile, Apoorva's wife Shilpa's test results are still awaited, and it remains to be seen if she too will be tested positive for drugs.
