Bade Achhe Lagte Hai sets a trend of intimate scenes on TV

Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar shocked the Indian Television audience when they locked lips for the first time on Indian TV in their serial Bade Achhe Lagte Hai on Sony TV, produced by Ekta Kapoor. Though many television artists are ready to do intimate acts on the small screen, it is not sure if the audience will accept the change.

Intimate scenes, which was a strict 'no-no' in movies once upon a time, is accepted as a normal romantic scene today. This trend is now being followed by Hindi serials as well. Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar's smooch scene in Bade Achhe Lagte Hai was topic of discussion for a long time.

Many TV actors are in favour of these love scenes being shown on the idiot box. One such actress is actress Aishwarya Sakhuja aka Toasty of Saas Bina Sasuraal fame on Sony TV. Aishwarya is comfortable with not only intimate scenes being showcased on TV, but also says that she will not mind kissing on the small screen if the show is being aired in an adult or late night slot.

Well, we see a slow, but definite change in perception. Though TV actors are ready to do sizzling and hot scenes, are the viewers equally ready? Point to ponder!
