Faizal Khan's the winner of Dance India Dance Li'l Masters season 2

Pune: In a spectacular grand finale of Dance India Dance Little Masters held yesterday (August 13, 212), Faizal Khan was announced the winner with maximum votes. While Om Chetry was the first runner, Rohan Parkale came in the third spot. Soumya Rai, one of the best and consistent performers of the show came fourth while little Jeet Das was fifth in the row.

In a star studded finale held yesterday in Pune, Faizal Khan, one of the most well deserved and popular contestant based out of Mumbai became the winner of Dance India Dance Little Masters. What came as a surprise, however, was that Soumya, who performed extremely well from day 1 was pushed back to number 4, as she got the least number of votes along with Jeet. The winner (Faizal) got a scholarship award of 10 lakhs, while Om won five lakhs. While Soumya and Jeet were awarded 1 lakh each, Rohan got three lakhs.

The evening started with a grand entry from the five finalists and some breathtaking performances by each of the top 5 contestants, their skippers and Masters Geeta Kapur and Marzi Pestonji. Even Host Jai along with mothers of the finalists did an awesome job in keeping the mass entertained.

While Faisal paid tribute to the golden era of films in his performance, Om surprised the audience with his stunts that included featured malkhamb, lathis and a human pyramid. Rohan lit up the stage as he made the lights on stage dance to the same tunes that he performed to. Soumya as always looked very pretty and danced like a 'Japani gudiya'. Jeet danced to a medley of Michael Jackson songs with a 15 foot statue of Michael Jackson appearing on stage.

This season of Dance India Dance got the maximum number of votes - 56,100,000.
