Gurmeet Choudhary-Shampa wins Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5

Gurmeet Choudhary along with partner Shampa were declared the winners of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5. He along with Shampa defeated contestants Rithvik Dhanjani and actress Rashmi Desai. The finale was aired today.

The finale of the popular show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 was a star studded affair with Sridevi and Madhuri performing to some hit numbers. Even ex contestants shook their booty and entertained the audience. Gurmeet seemed most confident inspite of the presence of dancing diva Sridevi and enchanted the audience with mind blowing performances.

After winning, an elated Gurmeet said, "When I came to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, I was just an actor but today, I can proudly say that I'm a good dancer too. I'd like to thank my wife Debina for her love and support. And most of all, I would like to thank all my fans and supporters who have stood by me through both the good and the bad times. I am where I am only because of them."

The show was judged by director Karan Johar, actress Madhuri Dixit and choreographer Remo D'souza.
