The
eagerly
awaited
show,
Satyamev
Jayate,
hosted
by
Aamir
Khan
will
be
aired
not
only
on
Star
Plus,
but
also
on
Doordarshan
(DD1)
simultaneously.
The
show
will
go
on
air
on
Sunday,
May
6th.
There
is
a
lot
of
hype
and
hoopla
regarding
Aamir
Khan,
who
will
be
making
his
television
debut
with
Satyamev
Jayate
on
Star
Plus.
For
the
first
time
in
the
Indian
television
history,
a
show
on
a
private
channel
will
be
telecast
on
Doordarshan
at
the
same
time.
The
show
will
be
dubbed
in
four
Indian
languages
–
Tamil,
Malayalam,
Telugu
and
Kannada.
Aamir
Khan
got
very
emotional
while
speaking
at
the
recent
launch
of
Satyamev
Jayate.
The
47-year-old
accepted
that
he
is
a
very
emotional
person
and
broke
down
many
a
time
after
hearing
heart
rendering
stories
of
people.
Speaking
about
the
title
song
of
the
show,
Aamir
Khan
said
that
though
he
and
the
team
earlier
thought
of
composing
a
national
song
or
an
anthem,
they
decided
against
doing
so
as
it
was
felt
that
a
love
song
for
the
country
would
be
more
of
an
appropriate
thing
to
do.
The
song,
sung
by
Keerthi
is
written
by
Prasoon
Joshi
and
composed
by
Ram
Sampath.
Aamir
Khan
also
said
that
he
wants
every
Indian
to
watch
Satyamev
Jayate
with
their
family
and
hence
decided
to
opt
for
a
Sunday,
11
am
slot.
The
talented
actor
went
on
to
say,
“I'm
not
attempting
to
change
anybody's
life
with
the
show.
I
am
an
entertainer,
my
attempt
is
to
connect
with
the
people.
But
entertainment
can
be
of
any
form,
it
need
not
be
making
people
laugh
every
time.”
Hmmm....from
the
looks
of
it,
Satyamev
Jayate
seems
very
promising.
Good
luck
Aamir!
