Balika Vadhu: Will Anandi Favour Jagya In The Court?

In the October 17th episode of Balika Vadhu, Shiv meets Jagya in the jail and blames him for all that Sanchi and their family had to go through and asked him to accept his crime. Jagya says that he did not commit any crime and has already apologised to whatever happened. Jagya says that if he (Shiv) will be happy seeing him punished, then he'll be glad. Shiv is speechless and storms out of the jail.

Jagya speaks to himself and wishes that Shiv could understand him better. He says that if he had married Sanchi, many lives would have been destroyed. This way, at least he will be the one to suffer, not others.

The inspector tells Shiv that if Jagdish's ex-wives and his present wife speaks against him in the court, nobody can stop him from getting punished. When Shiv tells the police that his wife Anandi is Jagya's ex-wife, the police says that she can definitely ensure that he is punished and Shiv agrees.

Ganga calls Anandi, and Anandi pacifies her by asking her to be strong. The two have a brief chat and both are able to understand the troubles that they are going through because of this incident. Anandi assures her that she will let her know about Jagya if she gets any information.

Bhairon asks Jagya to open up and tell everything to the police. Jagya says that he cannot tell them that Anandi was with him at the coffee shop. If Sanchi's lie comes out, the family won't be able to tolerate and Anandi will then be in trouble. Bhairon is touched seeing Jagya's selflessness and promises to get justice for him. The two get very emotional.

Ganga gets summons from the court and she is glad that she can say something in favour of Jagya that can make the case stronger. Anandi too gets summons from the court. Everybody in the family is shocked except for Shiv who is aware of what it is all about. Ira asks Anandi whether she will support her sasural or her maika.

Bhairaon meets the Shekhars and requests them to not to go the legal way. He says that this will create rift between both the families which he doesn't want. Dadhu, Ira, Alok and Shiv are very angry and glare at Bhairaon. Anandi can't control her emotions and starts crying. Meenu too seem to understand what he is saying. Both Anandi and Bhairaon look at each other and the scene ends there.
