Balika Vadhu: Will Sanchi Force Ganga To Leave Jagya?

In Balika Vadhu, since the past two days, both lawyers (Sanchi's and Jagya's) have been fighting the case in the court of law in defence of their respective client. While Jagya's lawyer tried proving Sanchi wrong for being obsessed and selfish, Sanchi's lawyer tried justifying his stand of Ganga and Jagya's alleged relationship before Jagya's engagement with Sanchi.
Both families are being called in the witness box and interrogated by both lawyers. Sanchi's family think that they have an upper hand and are hoping that Anandi too speaks in Sanchi's favour.

Ira confronts Anandi and asks her to speak in favour of Sanchi in court. She warns her and tells her that if she speaks in their favour, everything will be the same as before and nobody will say a word against her. However, if she speaks in Jagya's favour, the entire family will be against her and she will not be able to accept her as her bahu.

Anandi is very upset and prays to god for strength. She is in a dilemma and doesn't know whether to support the truth or speak in favour of Sanchi and her in-laws who she knows is wrong. Anandi tells herself that if she were to support Jagya, then Sanchi and her family would get hurt, and if she were to speak in Sanchi's favour, her own concience would be hurt.
