The Colors amazingly popular show Bigg Boss, hosted by
superstar Salman Khan, is obviously the highest
rated television show, but when a viewer of the show is asked if he
watched it last night, the answer would be, "Naa, I don't watch
such bakwas show."
When the clock strikes Nine however, the entire family will have
dinner watching Bigg Boss! It's just like ones curiosity
to know about their neighbours, but when asked would deny having
any interest with knowing anything about them.
Why is this shame in watching a reality show? The show just
showcases how a group of individuals deal with the scenarios when
exposed to certain circumstances and how each one of them react to
such instances and overcome the obstacles. It is interesting to see
the individual traits that are apparent in every one of us when
shown on television is seen as something bizarre, when everyone of
us know one might react the same way in such a situation.
Is it the obviously apparent shunning, that is exclusive to our
country, of anything pleasurable? Why must an individual "like" anything that is socially "respectable" and "hate" something that
is "considered dirty"? One should think about it.
