Actor and host Gautam Rode turns 36 today. The Saraswatichandra fame actor, who is more famous with the name Saras, is celebrating his birthday today.
Born on 14th August 1977, Gautam Rode finished his schooling from Army Public School, Delhi and graduated from Bhagat Singh College, Delhi in commerce. He says that acting was in his fate since he initially wanted to enter his father's stock broking business and somehow now he has ended up being an actor.
Starting his acting career in a Bollywood film Annarth, opposite Preeti Jhagiani, he went on to do many advertisements and music albums. The album Tere Bina by Abhijeet Bhattacharya featured Gautam Rode and it bought him international recognition. Gautam then went on to do television show like Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Lucky and also appeared in a guest appearance in Mallika-E-Kitchen.
Rode then made Ram Gopal Verma film Agyaat too. He then continued his TV projects Aahat, hosting India's Got Talent, Nach Baliye after which he ended up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's spectacular television venture, Saraswatichandra.
Saraswatichandra, the Star Plus show has been famous around the world starting from the first episode and the fan following Gautam has got, has been increasing ever since. The show stars Jennifer Winget alongside him and their chemistry has been getting good reviews all over.
Though the show seems to be in trouble off late in the production section, it will go strong because of the following the show has both in India and abroad, especially UK.
