Gottlieb
may
have

the

but
she
is
not
disappointed.
She
feels
it's
a
big
achievement
for
her
to
reach
the
finale
despite
being
a
foreigner.

into
prominence
after
winning
American

"I've
fallen
in
love
with
India
and
the
people
out
here.
I
came
to
India
as
a
foreigner,
but
I'm
staying
in
India
as
an
Indian," Lauren,
25,
posted
on
Twitter.
Lauren,
who
showed
her
dancing
prowess
on
Jhalak
Dikhla
Jaa
6,
impressed
the
viewers
when
she
gave
a
spell-binding
classical
performance
in
one
of
the
episodes.
"To
come
from
a
different
country
and
be
voted
all
the
way
to
the
finale
just
shows
how
much
love
and
warmth
the
people
of
India
have," she
said
in
her
post.
She
is
grateful
to
all
her
fans
for
letting
her
and

Punit
Pathak
reach
the
finals,
which
was
on

"Thank
you
so
much
for
making
me

'Jhalak...'
journey
so
beautiful
and
memorable.
I
mean
it
from
the
bottom
of
my
heart.
Thank
you," said
Lauren.
"Even
though
I
am
the
runner
up,
I
truly
feel
like
I
won
the
hearts
of
everyone
in
India
and
that
to
me
means
more
than
winning
a
trophy,"
she
added.
