Mallika Sharawat will be seen hunting for her groom on television. The new show, The Bachelorette India - Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika, is based on the hit US TV show The Bachelor, will be seeing bachelors competing against themselves to win Mallika Sharawat's heart.

The show resembles Swayamvar which witnessed Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and Ratan Rajput trying to find their life partners. The viewers enjoyed watching Rahul finding his soulmate Dimpy and marrying her on the show. Now it will be Mallika Sharawat, outspoken controversial actress, hunting for her groom.

Mallika Sharawat stated that she is looking for someone who is self-made, well educated, grounded and someone who can be a good friend and not just a lover. She prefers men who take risks in life, who are not afraid to speak their mind. She also said, what she truly is looking for is a friend and a soulmate.
