Pavitra Rishta: Ankita Lokhande aka Archana will be back

Exciting news for all the Pavitra Rishta Fans. The show is now happy to announce that Ankita Lokhande is going to return to this Balaji Telefilms show. The viewers were very disappointed to hear that their favourite character Archana will be replaced.

Ankita will be back playing the role of Archana on the show very soon. The producers say that they never wanted another actress playing this part other than Ankita. Ankita had left the show because she did not want to play a grand-mother's role on the show in this very young age. But the actress has decided against it and is now returning to the show.

Pavitra Rishta portrays the simple life of common middle-class families of Mumbai and the day to day problems which they face. The story particularly focuses on the characters Manav and Archana and their grown-up children.

Though the show had finalised Gautami Kapoor for the part when Ankita had expressed differences to play an elderly person, they have now opted Ankita herself for her very acclaimed role Archana. This means the viewers will get to see their Archana back in their favourite show.
