Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starring Chennai Express, directed by Rohit Shetty, that took the entire nation on a trip from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, had another success party recently. This time it was not for breaking Box Office records, but for breaking the viewership record for a film premiere on an Indian television. The film was premiered on Zee TV and had 55 Million TVs tuning in to this channel to watch the movie.

Chennai Express crossed the Rs 200 crore mark at the Box Office, becoming easily the biggest hit on 2013. The film is the love story between two individuals from different parts of our nation and how they meet and fall in love and fight for it against the world.

The film received most appreciation for Deepika Padukone's beautiful portrayal of a South Indian girl and of course, her chemistry with King Khan. The film's music was a huge success before and after the film got released and it continues to mesmerise the listeners till date.

Shahrukh Khan, who is busy with his film Happy New Year, and Deepika Padukone, who is busy with her film Ram Leela, made time amidst their busy schedule to make it to this success party. The party was also attended by Zee Entertainment Limited, MD and CEO, Punit Goenka, Rohit Shetty, Siddharth Roy Kapur, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita Lokhande, Bhushan Kumar, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah.

Other guests included Eijaz Khan, Karan V Grover, Kratika Sengar, Parul Chauhan, Rajeshwari and Varun Badola, Hiten Tejwani and Gauri Pradhan, and Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi.
