Shweta Tiwari Wedding - Sangeet Ceremony
It's wedding time for Shweta Tiwari, she is marrying her boyfriend (after dating him for three-and-a-half years), Abhinav Kohli, today, in Mumbai. The Sangeet ceremony took place yesterday among the family and friends of both the actors.
Shweta recently announced this happy news on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6, when she was a contestant in the dance reality show. Abhinav, who was last seen in the TV show Kairi, dated Shweta for three years after which they got engaged. He never thought Shweta will reciprocate his feelings. So, it was indeed a surprise for him when they started dating. Abhinav is extremely close to Shweta's family and specially her daughter Palak who is already in love with her to-be-dad.
The Sangeet ceremony took place yesterday, in the midst of close family and friends, who celebrated by dancing on many Bollywood numbers. Shweta's Parvarrish co-star Barkha Sengupta, who plays her younger sister in the serial, performed a dance number. Not only Barkha, Shweta's on-screen daughter in Parvarrish, Aashika Bhatia, also performed to songs 'Radha' and 'Chammak challo'. Another child artist from the serial, Sparsh Khanchandani, who plays Barkha Sengupta's on-screen daughter, is also doing a beautiful performance for the wedding.
Sparsh is a good friend of Shweta Tiwari's teenage daughter Palak, and this is what she said about her performance, "I will dance to 'Gun gun guna re' from Agneepath and 'Katiya karoon' from Rockstar. I am very close to Shweta maasi's daughter, Palak, and will be wearing a golden anarkali."
The wedding and sangeet ceremonies is said to be held in Mumbai, whereas the venue for the reception has been chosen as Bangalore. Wedding is currently happening today, and the reception post wedding is set to be held in Bangalore on 17th July.
