Sushant Digvikar who was recently evicted from the Bigg Boss 8 house says that he is out from the show because he did not perform in the tasks properly.
Sushant was nominated last week along with Ali Quli Mirza,Praneet Bhatt, Sonali Raut, Gautam Gulati and Puneet Issar, while all the others got saved Sushant had to leave the most-controversial house.
As it was seen that Sushant had well performed in the first week and was quite noticeable but later on he started losing his confidence and was among those who were barely noticed in the house. This might have been one of the major reasons why the audience didn't vote for him.
After coming out of the Bigg Boss house when Sushant was interviewed he said that "I didn't see much of myself in the episodes...I will not blame the audience for my eviction. I'd rather blame the idea of entertainment that Indian reality shows follow, considering the fact that if someone is away from the fights and away from the controversies."
Mr. Digvikar also believes that in India the concept of entertainment is completely different. He believes that people love to see fights in Bigg Boss. They only like the show when they see contestants fighting, pulling each other's hair and keep shouting every now and then.
Remember the task where Sushant was asked to shave his hair? Sushant believes that this might have been the reason for his elimination. "I really don't know the exact reason, maybe it's because I didn't perform in one of the tasks. I was a little absurd to go clean-shaven unnecessarily. I think that my profession might not allow me to get bald to save others from nominations. I would not go bald for anybody just to save them from eviction," he added.
During his stint in Bigg Boss, Sushant had Diandra Soares, Soni Singh, Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna as his confidantes. He wishes to continue his friendship with them when they come out of the show too.
