Actress Drashti Dhami, who has been finalised as the co-host of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7, with actor Ranvir Shorey, is beginning to feel the heat. The Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actress says that acting and dancing are her skills and that hosting is intimidating her.
Drashti Dhami proved her versatility on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 6 by winning the show, and dancing seemed to come pretty naturally to her, just as acting does. But Drashti is feeling out of her depth playing hostess of JDJ 7, especially due to Kapil Sharma and Manish Paul's previous work. "According to me dancing and acting is easy because I have danced in Jhalak and acting is my skill. Hosting is more difficult because I am hosting a show for the first time. Last time I hosted the Golden Petal Awards but that was very restricted so this is completely different." said Drashti.
She also expressed her anxiety and uncertainty about being accepted as a host, and as a pair with co-host Ranvir Shorey. Drashti nervously averred, "I am very excited for hosting Jhalak Dikhla Jaa but more than being excited I am very nervous because last year Manish Paul and Kapil Sharma did a great work and I don't think I could even be close to what they were, but yes I know I will give my best." Of course you will Drashti darling, considering the go-getter that you are.
Adding to the pressure on Drashti, this time too, she will have to master the art of multi-tasking, managing simultaneous shooting of the serial Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7.
Drashti revealed that her favorite Jhalak 7 contestant is good friend Karan Tacker, whom she will be rooting for this season of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa.
