Drashti Dhami And Fiance Neeraj Call Off Wedding?

Drashti Dhami, the Madhubala of Television is in news again, but with a rather saddening news. Apparently, her engagement with her NRI businessman-fiance Neeraj Khemka is called off.

Drashti Dhami and Neeraj Khemka have been dating each other for quite sometime now and they had announced their wedding which was to take place later this year. There were talks that the wedding preparations had been taking place too, but the current rumours seems to have a different story all together.

The reason for this split, apparently, is Neeraj's insecurities when it comes to Drashti Dhami. Her previous affairs with her co-actor Gurmeet Choudhary is said to be one of the main reasons. Apparently, Neeraj was not comfortable with her chemistry with Gurmeet during the Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi days.

Her chemistry with her Madhubala actor Vivian Dsena had triggered issues that have been latent till now. Seems like Neeraj is oblivious to Vivian Dsena's happily married life with Vahbbiz Dorabjee.

Also, apparently Neeraj wanted to marry as soon as possible but Drashi wanted to focus on her career for a little longer. A leading website quoted a sourse saying, "Neeraj wants to marry Drashti as soon as possible. But Drashti is delaying it. Though he is never insecure about her popularity, he does desire to marry her. On the other hand, Drashti feels that her marriage may affect her popularity, so as for now, she is not very happy with her boyfriend's proposal. She is a thorough professional and a career oriented woman."

It was even said that during Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Dhami's closeness with her choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan also was an issue with Neeraj.
