Drashti Dhami Follows Ankita; To Play Double Role Post Leap In Madhubala?

Madhubala's leap has upset the audiences, but now there is a good news coming for all the Drashti Dhami and Madhubala fans. Drashti might play a double role of both mother and daughter in the serial post leap which is similar to Ankita Lokhande's role in Pavitra Rishta.

Post leap Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon will not see Vivian Dsena a part of the camp, but Drashti will sustain being Madhubala on the show. The recent news that has popped out is that Drashti might play role of both Madhubala as the mother and her 25-year-old daughter.

Vivian had to quit the show as his character of RK could not be seen as the father of a 25-year-old daughter. But, the channel and producers were firm enough to retain Drashti and make her play both the roles.

This playing of double role is not a new thing as Ankita Lokhande has already done it in the serial Pavitra Rishta. Ankita initially was scared doing the role, but as time passed by she became more and more comfortable with it.

Performing two roles at the same time is a tough thing and managing your fame while doing it is even more tougher. The same happened with Ankita. She was the most renowned TV star, but her change of roles had suddenly put her fame on stake.
