Himmanshoo Malhotra To Don The Look Of A Cop In Yeh Hai Aashiqui

Television actor Himmanshoo Malhotra, who gained fame from his character, ‘Sameer' in Aapki Antara, comes back to small screen after a short sabbatical. The actor, who was last seen as a police officer, will once again be portraying a heroic cop in the upcoming episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The episodic show which portrays unusual love stories will showcase the tale of a cop who stands by his love in the most adverse situation.

While talking about the show and his character, Himmanshoo said, "It was a great experience working with bindass and being a part of the team which is so enthusiastic and passionate about their work.I love the way Yeh Hai Aashiqui portrays such beautiful love stories, as they very well capture the emotional quotient which appeals to our Indian audiences. I am portraying the role of Mayur, an honest and dedicated police officer who eventually falls in love with a girl who is a victim to the sex trafficking scandal"

The versatile actor will be seen romancing Shivshakti Sachdev which will be hosted by popular television actor Rithvik Dhanjani, who will take the viewers through the entire story.
