Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 2, 2nd May written episode: Astha and Sojal confirm that they did not see Jyoti in the temple. Astha insists on informing the police and naturally, Abhay opposes, giving the reason of his prestige. Anjali assures him that they will find her without taking help from police. Abhay pretends being grief-stricken without Jyoti and inists on staying in the Agnihotri house. He is welcomed there, as expected.

Abhay and mom spend time in luxury. They are assured that at least their poverty is over. He calls Sojal and asks her whether she can give any special information. In return Sojal strictly asks him why on earth Jyoti took such a big step, whether he is responsible for this. Abhay becomes pale. As Sojal leaves, he tells his mom to keep watch on everyone.

Niranjan erupts on Anjali, saying that she has failed to give good values to her daughter. It would have been better if Jyoti died instead of escaping from her husband, utters Niranjan! Anjali tells him that whenever Jyoti called her, she counseled her to adjust with Abhay.

Astha hears their conversation and becomes shocked at the ultimate level of brutality in Niranjan. She finds Anjali crying in isolation. She tells Anjali that she has the right to be worried and upset for her daughter. There is no need to hide her tears. Anjali hides her feelings and pretends being strict as usual. Astha tries to make her understand that her children are being distant from her, as they misunderstand her.

Shlok becomes absolutely fed up as he fails to find Jyoti, after each possible attempt. Astha insists on going to the police. Shlok talks with Niranjan, who tells him that he has talked with the commissioner, who has promised complete assistance.

Siddarth brings a gift for Jyoti after his promotion. Jyoti refuses to accept, as Siddarth has already done a lot for her. Sid tells her that he has done no favour, rather he feels blessed having her in his life. Jyoti is worried about this.

Jyoti prevents Kalindi from showing Sid the marriage album of Astha, as he will find her photo there. Kalindi tells her to confess the truth someday. Jyoti agrees.
