Jee Le Zara, Not Good Enough; Likely To Go Off Air Soon

By Girija Narayan

Jee Le Zara, the Sony TV show starring Sangeeta Ghosh and Ruslaan Mumtaz, is going to go off air very soon.

The storyline dealt with the love between a strong women and a fun-loving boy, completed 100 episodes this January. Due to the bad ratings of the show the makers have decided to put the curtain down on the show.

The show, Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, in an attempt to gain rating tried all their might. From introducing new characters and bringing in new twists to a big fat Indian wedding, the makers tried everything in the book. And the outcome seemed lacking, resulting in them deciding to end the show.

The reason for this failure is accounted to many factors, like the lack of chemistry between the lead actors and lack of meat in the storyline itself. But everything said and done, the show ended up disappointing everyone.

Jee Le Zara was meant to relaunch the actors, Sangeeta and Ruslaan, in a fresh new light. But the show did nothing to their career as well.

A source told that the channel is now looking for other concepts that will replace the show.

The show, currently aired on Sony Entertainment Television, will most likely go off air in June, sources said.
