Jodha Akbar 1st July written episode: Previously, Akbar still believes that Todarmal can never commit such a heinous crime, but considers everyone's arguments that the evidences are against Todarmal. Akbar announces death penalty for Todarmal.

Todarmal's wife comes to Jodha's chamber. She says that she will be with him till the end. A thunderstorm hits the palace at night. Jodha becomes worried to see that the lamp in front of Kanha has been extinguished by the strong wind. She takes it as a bad omen.
She comes outside and sees Akbar, walking on the roof. Akbar tells Jodha that the storm inside him is even more disastrous. In his heart he feels that he has taken a disastrously wrong decision, after he has punished Todarmal. The pain in his eyes troubles Jodha.

Jodha wakes up at night and tries to light the lamp in front of Kanha. But she is not able to do it even after the storm is over. She apprehends something worst.
Jodha's Dilemma Continues
In the morning she sees the restlessness in Jalal and has the same feeling within herself. She thinks of visiting Shahnaz's chamber.
Akbar Feels Wrong Doing
Munim Khan informs Akbar that the arrangement for Todarmal's penalty is complete. Akbar tells him that he will get ready and come to the penalty ground soon. Till the last moment, he feels that he is doing wrong with Todarmal.

Jodha comes to Shahnaz's chamber and hears her uttering that she has to act like a mad all the time, whenever people are present around her.

Akbar Learns Shahnaz's Truth Too
He rushes to Shahnaz's chamber and finds Jodha in captivity. Shahnaz holds a dagger near Jodha's neck and scares Akbar. Jodha tells Akbar that it is his sister Nigar, the daughter of Humayun and Chand Begum. She keeps cursing Akbar for imprisoning her mother and cleverly leaves the room.
Akbar Wants To Kill Shahnaz
Akbar says that he will kill the woman. Jodha forbids him to do so. She opines that Akbar should correct her misconception. Akbar runs after Shahnaz.
Maha Chuchak Address Troop
Maha Chuchak addresses the troop of Haider Quasim, as it will start for Agra soon. Maham is delighted by the fact that one of Akbar's confidants is going to die soon. She is also happy to see that a gap has been created between Jalal and Jodha.
